Research services

Research services for two distinct needs.

Each engagement makes clear who commissions and pays for the work, what it produces, and how the research will be used.

For Investment Teams

Custom research & modeling

For RIAs, hedge funds, family offices, and investment teams with a coverage gap, a live diligence question, or a peak-workload period.

Who pays: The investment team commissions and pays for the work. Project-based or recurring support is scoped around the research question and workload.

Outputs: Research memos, operating models, valuation and scenario analysis, transaction reviews, and thesis monitoring, as agreed.

For Public Companies

Issuer-sponsored equity research

For under-covered public companies seeking research that helps investors understand the business, valuation, and material risks.

Who pays: The covered company pays a fixed engagement fee. Sponsorship and relevant conflicts are disclosed; Riverson Arc retains editorial control.

Outputs: An initiation report, operating model, valuation, and agreed updates, with visible sponsorship disclosures.

All three reports currently in our research library are unsponsored. No issuer-sponsored coverage has been initiated. Editorial independence refers to control over research conclusions, not the source of funding.

The research standard

A process designed to make judgment auditable.

Good research should show its work. Riverson Arc separates reported facts, third-party estimates, and analyst assumptions—then tests the conclusion against the evidence that could disprove it.

01

Business quality

We begin with the economics of the business: competitive position, return durability, balance-sheet resilience, and the reinvestment required to sustain growth.

02

Expectations matter

A strong company is not automatically an attractive security. We compare operating evidence with the expectations embedded in forecasts and price.

03

Valuation discipline

We use cash-flow models, scenario analysis, and market multiples as decision tools—while making the assumptions and sensitivities visible.

04

Evidence over ego

Every thesis needs a falsifier. We state what would change the view, what remains uncertain, and which indicators deserve continued attention.

Coverage approach

Sector agnostic. Selective by design.

Riverson Arc follows investable questions across public markets, applying a consistent framework while adapting the analysis to each business and industry.

01

Business Quality

Revenue drivers, competitive position, unit economics, financial resilience, and the durability of returns through market cycles.

02

Industry Context

Market structure, demand, supply, regulation, technology, and the forces that shape a company’s opportunity set.

03

Valuation & Capital Allocation

Cash generation, reinvestment, balance-sheet choices, shareholder returns, and the expectations embedded in price.
